Direct traffic:

  • Visitors who arrive on your website by typing your URL into their browser or via a link such as the links on the post we put on your Facebook page that go straight to your site. Note (This is often misleading, because when people don’t give Google their search info, it is counted as direct traffic when it is really organic).

  • Visitors who arrive on your website from a search engine query.

Referral traffic:
